How does the point system work?
There are many ways to earn points in the Grand Family Challenge! Following is a breakdown of the scoring system:

All points are tracked and recorded by the lifestyle coaches and the family with highest point average at the end wins!
Baseline:
- Each family begins with 10 points
- Registering for SuperTracker: 1 point per family
Assessments:
- BevQ15 form: 5 points
- Diet History form: 5 points
- Weight/height measurements: 5 points
- Waist/hip circumference: 5 points
- Blood pressure: 5 points (adults only)
- Step test: 5 points (adults only)
Objective Measures:
- Weight: 5 points per person for having weight measure at assessment
- For every 1 unit decrease in BMI: 5 points
- For every 1 unit increase in BMI: -5 points
- Maintaining BMI and child's BMI %ile: 3 points
- Achieving a BMI that is one category lower than baseline (e.g. obese to overweight): 10 points
- Those who start out at a healthy weight: 10 points for adult or child
- Waist/hip circumference: 5 points per person per measurement (adults only)
- For every centimeter decrease: 5 points
- For every centimeter increase: -5 points
- Blood pressure: 5 points for three measurements (adults only)
- Step test: 5 points per person (adults only)
- Any improvement in step test (time or heart rate): 10 points
Communication Points:
- Interaction with lifestyle coach (phone, text, email, in-person): 1 point per communication (max of 5 points/week/family)
- Weekly weights: 2 points per person for self-report
- Weekly food log report with food groups and calories: 1 point (max of 1 point/week)
Workshops:
- 5 points per person for attending a workshop
